The Stage is set for the Danish Maritime Forum

With a beautiful view over the sea Docken (The Dock) will provide the unique settings for the inaugural Danish Maritime Forum on October 8-9 2014, when key international stakeholders are brought together to unleash the full potential of the global maritime industry to increase human wellbeing through a healthy and competitive business environment worldwide.

“The Danish Maritime Forum will be a creative, informal working space and Docken is highly suitable for this purpose. An innovative environment will inspire for collaboration across sectors when key leaders, regulators, experts and other influential opinion shaper meet to generate new ideas and solutions to the most important challenges facing the industry today and in the future,” says Johannah Christensen, Head of Secretariat, Danish Maritime Days.

Docken is a former salt store house and its huge windows will draw the special Nordic sea light into the summit zone. The venue is situated right on the pier in the Copenhagen city area North Harbour, which in these years is being transformed into the sustainable district of Copenhagen.
