Future Maritime Leaders join the Danish Maritime Forum

The future of the global maritime industry is a vital part of the DNA of the Danish Maritime Forum, and since the inaugural Danish Maritime Forum in October 2014 the organisers have had the ambition to give the next generation of global leaders from across the entire maritime value chain a voice in connection with the maritime summit. This is why a select number of Future Maritime Leaders are invited to the Danish Maritime Forum 2015.

“We are happy to announce that not only current maritime leaders but also Future Maritime Leaders will participate in the Danish maritime Forum 2105. The Future Maritime Leaders will represent a voice of the future in the discussions that addresses some of the major challenges and opportunities that the global maritime industry is facing. During the Forum they will identify the issues and developments which they see as part of the future and they can come up with their ideas on how the Danish Maritime Forum can reach an ambitious goal of creating a global community for the Future Maritime Leaders,” says Michael Soested Head of Secretariat of Danish Maritime Days.

The Danish Maritime Forum takes place on 7-8 October 2015 in Copenhagen and is a part of Danish Maritime Days, a global platform counting 80 events, which in the week of 5-9 October will engage in discussions and seek to find solutions to the industry’s most important challenges.

The Danish Maritime Forum and Future Maritime Leaders are initiatives of Danish Maritime Days, a not-for-profit public-private partnership between Danish Maritime, the Danish Maritime Authority and the Danish Shipowners’ Association. Danish Maritime Days is supported by the A.P. Møller Relief Foundation, the Danish Maritime Fund, D/S Orients Fond // D/S NORDEN, the Hempel Foundation, the Lauritzen Foundation, the Ministry of Business and Growth and the Torm Foundation.
